This month features the Ivy Lane paper pack.  I made 2 cards, both 6x6 inch, using patterns from the how-to book Originals Card Confidence Program. For the balloon card, I used the button trio pattern on page 90; for the other card I used the Log Cabin pattern on page 84.

Washi Wonder Valentine Card

Hello!  I've had this Valentine's Day card idea running through my head the past few days and finally had the time after work today to actually put it together.  I used several of the new products found in the new Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book, as well as some "oldies but goodies."  I'm a huge fan of pinks & browns together, so I fell in love with this card. Hope you do too! 

The "cake" was stamped using the Washi Wonder set, each layer in a different color (bottom is Hollyhock, middle is Smoothie and top is Cotton Candy). I drew the cake stand using a journaling pen. I also inked the scalloped edge and the card edges in Chocolate. The window frame strips are cut at 1/4 inch and the pane strips are cut at 1/8 inch.
