Damask Divas Nevermore Blog Hop

****************
Hello!! Welcome to the Damask Divas Blog Hop featuring Nevermore!  If you came here from Jenifer's blog then you are in the right place.  If you've hopped here by chance, be sure to check out the complete list of participants on the Damask Divas Blog

For my project this month, I created a treat box for Halloween.  The box, spider, web, and letters are all cut from the Cricut Artiste Cartridge. I used White Daisy for the box, black cardstock for the web, and purple Glitter paper for the spider and "Eek!"  Then I just used pieces of Nevermore to cover the two parts of the box.

I used the following CTMH products:

Black satin ribbon (from my stash, not CTMH)

Don't forget to check out the September Special to celebrate National Stamping Month!
Purchase any of these stamp sets for $13.95 or buy all 3 for $34.95!

Damask Divas Zoe Blog Hop

Welcome to the Damask Divas Blog Hop featuring Zoe!!   If you came from Jenifer Benner's blog, then you are in the right place.  If you came here by chance, see the full list of blog participants on the Damask Divas Blog. I'm SO excited for the new Idea Book and new paper collections!!  To kick things off, we are featuring the Zoe paper collection.

FIRST, my small disclaimer.........Yes, I used a retired stamp set for my page layout (butterfly and joy stamps are from the Brushed WOTG kit), so I do apologize and hope that I don't get anyone's hopes up that they can use the same stamps as my layout.  Every stamp set I picked up from my stash that I thought would look good....was not continued in the new book.  So use your imagination to create your own masterpiece.

I found this layout on-line, designed by Leah Cameron, another CTMH Independent Consultant.

I used the following CTMH products to create this page:

Zoe paper packet
Zoe Complements
Cricut Artistry Collection (You & Me stamp) New Cartridge!
Coral Shimmer Trim New Color!
Silver Sequins
Slate cardstock
Glacier cardstock
White Daisy cardstock
Sorbet ink
Black ink

Thanks for taking a look at my project!

Damask Divas Valentine Blog Hop

Hi! Welcome to the Damask Divas Valentine's Day Blog Hop!  If you came here from Tracy's Blog, then you are in the right place!  If you hopped here by chance, be sure to check out the full list of participants at the Damask Divas Blog.  You'll find all sorts of inspiration for the "season of love."

For my project, I used the Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge and made a card for my husband.  This cartridge makes it so easy to put a card together that really has your own touch.  Simply cut out the card, adhere various papers behind the cut-outs, add your embellishments and you're done! If you didn't notice, in my doodling around the card edge, I actually added "love" as part of my doodling.  I also love that they are a full 5x7 inch.

The card base is found on page 35 of the cartridge booklet (sleeve+Shift+b) and was cut at 7 inches.
For the inside, from the same page, I cut the sentiment (sentiment+b) at 5 inches, then I cut it apart to piece the inside  (I wanted a full piece to cover the papers behind the hearts).

Washi-tape makes it simple to add that extra touch.  The small heart on the inside left is one of the cutouts from the card front that I covered with washi tape.

Close To My Heart products used:

Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge
Heartstrings paper pack
White Daisy card stock
Hollyhock card stock
"You're the Bomb" stamp set  ($3 of proceeds from this stamp sale is donated to Operation Smile)
Exclusive Inks - Black, Lagoon, Hollyhock
Lagoon Hearts Washi Tape
Gold Sequins Assortment
Black Journaling Pen
Foam Tape & adhesive of choice
