Hello there! Welcome to the September Damask Divas Blog Hop featuring the Scaredy Cat paper packet. If you came here from Sarah's blog, then you are in the right place. If you hopped here by chance, be sure to check out the full list of blog participants on the Damask Divas Blog.
For this blog hop, I made a one-page layout and a card. For the one-page layout, I used the Cricut Artbooking cartridge, and all of the cuts were made using the "V" key. The Artbooking cartridge is designed for scrapbook layouts, in that for each of the keys, you set your cutting size as indicated on the page and then each item on that page will be cut in proportion to the rest of the items to make your layouts easier than ever. Now you can still use RDS (Real Dial Size) to make your cuts (which I did to cut the fence pieces), but everything else was cut at 11 inches WITHOUT setting to RDS. (I cut the fence pieces....there are 4 pieces all together....at 1.5 inches RDS).

I had some scrap pieces of yellow-orange that I glued behind the windows of the haunted house and I sanded the edges as well. The fence pieces were cut from the houndstooth pattern of cardstock from the Paper Fundamentals Basics cardstock pack.
For the card, I cut the "Beware" piece from one of the patterned pieces in the paper pack, and the inside of the card has a sticker from the Complements set. I added a half-circle of purple glitter paper for a little extra color. The scalloped kraft piece is actually the flap cut off of a 6x6 kraft die-cut card and trimmed down a bit. The black cardstock was embossed with the dot embossing folder and then I sanded the top to bring out the white.
