the NEW Arfully Sent Cricut Collection

So if you love to make cards, there is absolutely NO REASON you should not consider getting the new Artfully Sent Cricut Collection!!  It can totally take the guesswork out of designing a card.  I just got my cartridge a few days ago but hadn't really looked through it yet until last night.  I needed a card for a baby shower at work (one of several in the next few months...something's in the water!!), so I browsed through the booklet to find this design.  I had some retired Babycakes paper and Assortments so I put it to good use.  This card was SO easy!!  And it comes with a second booklet that shows you how to assemble your card.

This particular card is one of the Pop-Up designs but it makes so many other types of cards as well. Scene cards, sleeve cards, pocket cards, gift-card holders....you can make 400 projects with this ONE cartridge!!  (the pennants for "Baby" were some cuts I had leftover from another cartridge, I believe Art Philosophy).

For $99 you get the cartridge, 3 D-size stamp sets (I used the font stamp set to stamp "Baby"), plus a package of White Daisy cardstock.

6" x 6" Canvas

Christmas is just around the corner!  Have you thought about what gifts you might give to your friends and family?  Have you thought about making your gifts?  Close To My Heart has many options to create your own gifts that everyone is sure to love.  Like this 6" x 6" canvas display, featuring my cutie-pie granddaughter.  This pattern is actually shown in the current Idea Book on page 128.  I pretty much followed the pattern as seen in the book, but you could easily make it your own....switch up the colors, stamp the hexagons instead of embossing them, even use a different sentiment.  Whatever you choose, you'll end up with a beautiful project that makes a perfect gift.

The hexagons were cut using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge, at 3/4 inch and 1 1/4 inch RDS (real dial size).  Use a VersaMark ink pad to stamp the various designs on the hexagons, then heat emboss using gold embossing powder.  The flowers, leaves and branches were cut using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge (see keys and sizes below). The leaves were covered with Topiary Striped Washi Tape.  All pieces were adhered with Liquid Glass.

You can find all of these products on my website.

Flowers cut from Art Philosophy:
