Make photo "frames" with stamping blocks

Hello, hope you are having a great day! I'm preparing for a workshop today (Christmas cards) and I am also planning a day of gift-making coming up soon and I wanted to share an idea I saw on the Close To My Heart website.
You stamp an image using Versamark ink directly on the stamping block and heat emboss it.  Then you apply spray adhesive on the front of your pic and adhere it to the back of the block. I trimmed the edges where the photo was too big (using a craft knife) and added a Sparkles flourish.  What a quick easy gift!!

Holiday Gift Card Holders

Hi everyone!  Hope you are having a great weekend!  I've been enjoying it myself.  I made these gift card holders since my husband and I usually buy quite a few gift cards for Christmas presents.  The design came from a fellow CTMH team member,  Hillary Harris.  They could easily be adapted to fit any occasion.  I used the Sparkle & Shine paper pack from the Holiday Gift Guide. You could use just about any stamp/sentiment in your desired shape for the label.

The base is cut 3 1/2 inches x 8 1/2 inches.  Score it 2 inches from one end and 2 1/2 inches from the other end.  Use a corner rounder on the shorter end.  Glue the sides of the larger end to the inside to form the pocket for the gift card.  The paper cuts are cut at 1 3/4 x 3 1/4 inches, 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches, and 3 3/4 x 3 1/4 (this piece is for the back of the card holder).

Damask Divas Huntington Blog Hop

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the Damask Divas Blog Hop featuring the Huntington paper pack!  If you came from Amie's blog then you are in the right place.  If you are here by chance be sure to check out the full list of blog participants on the Damask Divas Blog.

This pack is beautiful, featuring fall colors and is perfect for your cards, layouts or whatever your heart desires!  I made a one-page layout (12x12) and a card.

The card also uses the November Stamp of the Month "Illuminate" and is available for only $5 when you place a $50 qualifying order.  This stamp has been very popular and many people have been waiting patiently for November to arrive so they can get their hands on it!

For the scrapbook page above I used the Huntington paper packet and I also used a piece of Olive cardstock (which is not included in the paper packet). The sentiment was stamped on the Barn Red banner using Barn Red ink.  The Swirl on the Olive cardstock was stamped in Olive ink. The large swirl was stamped in Slate Ink.  The letters and numbers were stamped in Barn Red ink and then I used Copic markers in 2 shades of brown to color the letters.

I used pieces of the Huntington paper to make the base on Cocoa cardstock.  The lamp post is stamped in Champagne ink on the same color cardstock and the sentiment is stamped in Barn Red.  After matting it with Barn Red cardstock, I attached it to the card front with foam tape.

The following CTMH products were used to make both projects:

Huntington Paper Pack
Olive cardstock
Swirls Around Stamp Set
Always Grateful Stamp Set
Framework Alphabet Stamp Set
Illuminate Stamp Set (Nov Stamp of the Month)
Barn Red Exclusive Ink
Champagne Exclusive Ink
Slate Exclusive Ink
Olive Exclusive Ink
Mini-Medley Asst in Rosewood
Huntington Assortment
Sarita Assortment
Bronze Shimmer Trim
Foam Tape
Opaques Adhesive Gems in Mocha
Copic Markers (E25, E47)

Sparkle & Shine Blog Hop

Hi everyone!!  Welcome to the Damask Divas Sparkle & Shine Blog Hop!  If you came here from Cydney's blog then you are in the right place! If you hopped here by chance, be sure to see the full list of blog participants on the Damask Divas Sparkle and Shine Blog Hop

I was so excited when my Sparkle & Shine paper packet arrived!!!  You will love it!! The colors are just beautiful.   I made two Christmas cards:

Both cards were made with products from our new Holidays From the Heart Gift Guide.

The first card used Kraft paper for the card base and front panel.  I placed the new Sparkle & Shine Washi Tape on the left of the card base.  I used a black marker to draw a line/dot border around the card panel.  The ornaments are cut with the Art Philosophy Cartridge and stamped in slate, ruby, and juniper inks.  The sentiment is from the Frosted WOTG Cardmaking Kit.  After adhering the ornaments to the panel, I drew "strings" and then added a bitty sparkle.  The panel is attached to the card front with foam tape.

The second card uses paper and cardstock from the paper packet.  The card base is white. The trees were cut using Art Philosophy Cartridge and stamped in Juniper ink. I attached washi tape to the Kraft panel then attached the trees with adhesive.  I stamped the star in Slate ink and added a bitty sparkle, then added Sparkle Holiday shapes to the other two trees. Mat the panel with a piece of patterned paper from the packet (mine matches the banner pattern).  Adhere panel to the card with foam tape. Notch the ends of Ruby Chevron Ribbon and a scrap from the paper packet for the two banners and adhere in place. The sentiment is stamped in black using "A Holiday" stamp set (from past idea catalog) and a bitty sparkle dots the "i."
