Damask Divas Lollydoodle Blog Hop

This paper pack is my FAVORITE in the Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book. I love the colors and the patterns.  It just screams "girlie girl" to me!  I created a gift bag/card set.

I used a small plain white gift bag purchased at a craft supply store; the card is a CTMH die-cut card.

 
 The sentiment piece was cut using the Artiste Cartridge; underneath that is a 2inch scalloped circle cut from Pink Glitter paper; the green oval was cut also from the Artiste Cartridge and stamped using Perfect Fit-Frames 2 in Pear Ink. The circles on the bag were cut using a circle punch in 1 inch (patterned paper) and 1 1/4 inch (pink glitter paper).

The Flamingo Dots coordinated well with the paper/ink colors. 

 I created my own pattern on the card top using the Holiday Tags set in Pear ink; the centers are from the Love Life set stamped in Whisper; I used Pink Flamingo Dots for the centers. The sentiment was cut from the Artiste Cartridge and stamped in Cotton Candy ink. I used a 2-inch strip of the pink patterned paper for the bottom inside of the card.

The sentiment was adhered using foam tape.

Good Luck card

I'm SO enjoying my unexpected day off.....here's another card I made using a pattern from the Wishes Card Confidence Program book.  This one is the All Stacked Up pattern on page 59 and is 6x3 inches 

I used Skylark paper again that I had left over from the WOTG kit, and I also added some of our NEW Green Glitter paper!  I stamped the background with Whisper ink and I inked the edges of all the papers and cardstock as well. I used the edge distresser on the 3 green squares. The sentiment is stamped in black, and punched out with a 1 1/2 inch circle punch.  The Sparkles Black Flourish is a new item too! I had a scrap piece of For Always textiles and just tied it in a knot around the pin clip.  The shamrocks were cut at 1 inch, using the Artiste Cartridge, and attached them with foam tape.

Skylark Card

Hello! I hope you are having a great day.  I certainly am as I got an unexpected day off, so I've been playing in my scrap room!  I recently completed the Skylark Workshops On The Go Scrapbooking kit and had plenty of scraps left over so I made this card.

The pattern is from the Wishes Card Confidence Program book from Close To My Heart. The pattern I used is on page 97, Collage.  It's a great book, especially if you have "scrapper's block" like I do.  It gives you the measurements to cut your papers and even instructs you where to place them to create a beautiful card in minutes!  


The heart is stamped using the set from the WOTG kit and then matted with Sweetleaf cardstock, also part of the kit. I inked and/or distressed all papers and cardstock, using Whisper Ink.

The hearts are stamped in Whisper Ink, the sentiment in Lagoon.  This particular sentiment is no longer available but you could use any sentiment of choice.

Love Banner Valentine Card


Valentine's Day is just around the corner!  You can make this card using some of the new products found in the Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book.....available TODAY!!

On the card base is a strip of the new Lollydoodle paper pack, along with some Smoothie Striped Washi tape, and Silver Shimmer Trim. The heart was adhered with foam tape. Add your sentiment and bling and you're done!
