the NEW Arfully Sent Cricut Collection
So if you love to make cards, there is absolutely NO REASON you should not consider getting the new Artfully Sent Cricut Collection!! It can totally take the guesswork out of designing a card. I just got my cartridge a few days ago but hadn't really looked through it yet until last night. I needed a card for a baby shower at work (one of several in the next few months...something's in the water!!), so I browsed through the booklet to find this design. I had some retired Babycakes paper and Assortments so I put it to good use. This card was SO easy!! And it comes with a second booklet that shows you how to assemble your card.
This particular card is one of the Pop-Up designs but it makes so many other types of cards as well. Scene cards, sleeve cards, pocket cards, gift-card holders....you can make 400 projects with this ONE cartridge!! (the pennants for "Baby" were some cuts I had leftover from another cartridge, I believe Art Philosophy).
For $99 you get the cartridge, 3 D-size stamp sets (I used the font stamp set to stamp "Baby"), plus a package of White Daisy cardstock.

6" x 6" Canvas
Christmas is just around the corner! Have you thought about what gifts you might give to your friends and family? Have you thought about making your gifts? Close To My Heart has many options to create your own gifts that everyone is sure to love. Like this 6" x 6" canvas display, featuring my cutie-pie granddaughter. This pattern is actually shown in the current Idea Book on page 128. I pretty much followed the pattern as seen in the book, but you could easily make it your own....switch up the colors, stamp the hexagons instead of embossing them, even use a different sentiment. Whatever you choose, you'll end up with a beautiful project that makes a perfect gift.
The hexagons were cut using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge, at 3/4 inch and 1 1/4 inch RDS (real dial size). Use a VersaMark ink pad to stamp the various designs on the hexagons, then heat emboss using gold embossing powder. The flowers, leaves and branches were cut using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge (see keys and sizes below). The leaves were covered with Topiary Striped Washi Tape. All pieces were adhered with Liquid Glass.
You can find all of these products on my website.
Flowers cut from Art Philosophy:
1" and 1 1/4" Shift (cut several, p. 28) - Smoothie
1", 1 1/4", and 1 1/2" Shift (p. 29) - Smoothie
1", 1 1/2", and 2" Shift (cut several, p. 43) - Pear
1 1/2" Shift (p. 50) - Smoothie
3/4", 1", and 1 1/4" Shift (cut several, p. 56) - Pear
Thanks!

Damask Divas Scaredy Cat Blog Hop
Hello there! Welcome to the September Damask Divas Blog Hop featuring the Scaredy Cat paper packet. If you came here from Sarah's blog, then you are in the right place. If you hopped here by chance, be sure to check out the full list of blog participants on the Damask Divas Blog.
For this blog hop, I made a one-page layout and a card. For the one-page layout, I used the Cricut Artbooking cartridge, and all of the cuts were made using the "V" key. The Artbooking cartridge is designed for scrapbook layouts, in that for each of the keys, you set your cutting size as indicated on the page and then each item on that page will be cut in proportion to the rest of the items to make your layouts easier than ever. Now you can still use RDS (Real Dial Size) to make your cuts (which I did to cut the fence pieces), but everything else was cut at 11 inches WITHOUT setting to RDS. (I cut the fence pieces....there are 4 pieces all together....at 1.5 inches RDS).

I had some scrap pieces of yellow-orange that I glued behind the windows of the haunted house and I sanded the edges as well. The fence pieces were cut from the houndstooth pattern of cardstock from the Paper Fundamentals Basics cardstock pack.
For the card, I cut the "Beware" piece from one of the patterned pieces in the paper pack, and the inside of the card has a sticker from the Complements set. I added a half-circle of purple glitter paper for a little extra color. The scalloped kraft piece is actually the flap cut off of a 6x6 kraft die-cut card and trimmed down a bit. The black cardstock was embossed with the dot embossing folder and then I sanded the top to bring out the white.

The following CTMH products were used:
Thistle Exclusive Ink Pad (for sponging edges)
Frightfully Fun stamp set (ghost in doorway)

"Hi" card using Scaredy Cat paper packet
Hello there!! Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog. I had some spare time this afternoon so I spent the afternoon making some projects in my scrap room. I whipped up this card pretty quickly without any stamping. The only ink I used was to sponge the edges in Black ink. The "HI" letters are from the Base & Bling style sheet, because once you make those necklaces or bracelets you have all of these extra letters leftover and you're thinking...what am I gonna do with all these extra letters??? Well here's one way to solve that dilemma. Just stick them on patterned paper, trim the edges and mat on colored cardstock. Simple, simple!! All of the papers are the new Scaredy Cat paper packet and I used a 6x6 Kraft card base.

Damask Divas Chalk It Up Blog Hop
It's August and you know what that means!!!! The new Annual Inspirations Idea Book is LIVE!!! SOOO.......Welcome to the Damask Divas Blog Hop featuring the Chalk It Up paper pack! If you came here from Sarah's blog
then you are in the right place. If you've hopped here by chance, be
sure to check out the full list of blog participants on the Damask Divas Blog.
I've seen a new technique all over YouTube and Facebook.......the "masking tape stamping" technique. So I took a stab at it and made this 5x5in card....which surprisingly went together very quickly!! Don't you just love the effect?! You simply press a strip of masking tape (must use the blue painter's tape kind, the regular kind is too sticky) across your ink pad and then press it onto your cardstock. Then stamp your sentiment and other designs over that, using black ink. SO Easy!!!
I hope you have a blast seeing all the great projects with this new paper pack....and an even MORE blast checking out the new Idea Book. You'll be in awe for days! :)
Close to My Heart products used:
Kraft die-cut card (I cut a 6x6in card down to 5x5in)

July Stamp of the Month "Circus Alphabet"
Happy 4th of July everyone!! I've had a relatively quiet day at home....except for the neighbors testing their fireworks! Maybe we'll get a free show from our front porch?? Anyway, since I had some free time today, I spent the afternoon in my scrap room.
I used the My Creations Hip Pics Album, the Free To Be Me paper pack, and the July Stamp of the Month "Circus Alphabet." You can get this stamp set for $5 with any $50 qualifying purchase, but only until July 31st! This is any easy album to embellish as little or as much as you want...then just add pictures! I used various other stamp sets to embellish the pages. I colored the title piece using Copic markers. The pages have a slot in the top to put the pictures into the pages. All products used are Close to My Heart except for the metal arrows (those are Tim Holtz).

Timberline Blog Hop
Welcome to the Damask Divas Blog Hop featuring the Timberline paper pack. If you came here from Traci's blog, then you are in the right place. If you've hopped here by chance, be sure to check out the full list of blog participants on the Damask Divas Blog. This paper is perfect for masculine cards, layouts, and Father's Day! Camping season is upon is and this paper is also perfect for showcasing those fun pics of your trips! Plus, there are some adorable stamp sets that also go very well with this paper.
However............I chose to do something a little different from the outdoor theme and so I made a baby card. I got the idea of a baby card after cutting one of the zip strips off of the paper (star pattern). It immediately reminded me of babies. I used the Artbooking cartridge and cut the overlay (I love this overlay!!) from a piece of lagoon cardstock (set your Cricut to real-dial size. I cut the overlay at 5 1/2 inches for this 6x6 inch Kraft card). Then I just used pieces of the Timberline paper to adhere to the back of the overlay, plus Colonial White, before adhering the whole piece to the card front. The giraffe is also cut from the Artbooking cartridge. The tag is cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped using "B is for Baby," in Chocolate ink. Teal & Bronze shimmer trim along with a couple of Aqua Dots finished it off.
I also wanted to show how you can mix & match paper collections. This BFF card uses Timberline as well as the Skylark Picture My Life collection. "Sweet" was cut using the Artbooking cartridge, add some Teal shimmer trim and teal resin flowers from the Skylark assortment. A quick, easy card!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!!

Balloon Ride Blog Hop
Welcome to the Damask Divas Blog Hop featuring Balloon Ride! If you came here from Amie's blog then you are in the right place. If you just came here by chance, be sure to check out the full list of blog hop participants at the Damask Divas Blog.
Using the Balloon Ride paper pack, I made a 12x12 page layout using the "sunburst" technique (there are a ton of Youtube videos that show you how to do this). I added just a bit of stamping under the sentiment, using the Love Life stamp set in Crystal Blue ink, and the photo mat corners were stamped using the Believe in Yourself stamp set in Saddle ink. Then I just added different pieces from the Balloon Ride complements, some silver shimmer trim, clear acrylic flowers (leftover in my stash), and a few Aqua dots. I love the colors of this paper!!
May Special!! With your qualifying $50 purchase, you can get the Free To Be Me paper pack for only $5. The colors and patterns are so bright and fun! And don't forget the May Stamp of the Month, which you can ALSO get for $5 with your $50 qualifying purchase.

April Stamp of the Month
Hello there!! Hope you are having a great day......I'm trying to get a little crafting done today myself...between vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, etc. etc.....don't seem to be getting much cleaning done though :)
Here's a card I made using the Jubilee paper (it's actually the leftovers from the Workshop on the Go Kit) and the April Stamp of the Month, Balloon Talk. This is such a versatile set you could use it over and over for many different things. I also used one of our new embossing folders, quatrefoil, to emboss the honey card stock. I think it gives it a little "oomph." The card stock/paper pieces were cut at 1.5x3.75 inches. The sentiments were stamped on card stock and then I just hand-trimmed the pieces. "Hey there" and "Hello" are adhered with foam tape. Of course all of these products are sold separately, you don't have the purchase the WOTG kit, but it just shows there are plenty of supplies in those kits to make other projects, too.
This stamp set is only available until April 30th! Get it for $5.00 with any qualifying $50 purchase or you can purchase it outright for $17.95.

Jubilee card
Hi everyone!!! I finished up my Jubilee Workshops on the Go kit last night and I've been wanting to make one of those "sunburst" cards, so I played around with the leftovers and made this card. It actually went together pretty quickly. I cut strips of paper from corner to corner to create the "bursts" and then adhered them to a piece of scrap cardstock, then matted that piece with Colonial White cardstock. What a fun card!! Damask Divas Ariana Blog Hop
Hi everyone!! Welcome to the Damask Divas April Blog Hop featuring Ariana! If you came here from Brenda's blog, then you are in the right place. If you hopped here by chance, be sure to check out the full list of blog participants on the Damask Divas Blog.
I created this layout using the Ariana paper packet & Ariana assortment. The sentiment on the right page and some of the images on the circles are from the March Stamp of the Month, Happy Place, but you could substitute any sentiment, designs that you like. The Live,Love, Laugh stamps are from the Love Life stamp set. I used patterns from the Reflections pattern book. The left page uses pattern 7h (Triple Play-Columns) and the right side uses pattern 3b (Sidebar-Main Frame). I used Outdoor Denim baker's twine around the edges, laced through holes I punched; I also added color-ready wooden shapes, inking the leaves with Pear ink. (unfortunately, as I prepared this post, I discovered this particular wooden shape is now discontinued, but a Cricut cutout or hand cut leaves or any other embellishment would look great).
Now is a great time to join CTMH!!! From April 1-30, when you sign up to be a consultant, you will receive all of these goodies, PLUS a Cricut Collection of your choice! That's $400 in products for only $99!! Join my team now!
